Vintage Fine Wine Distributors (VFWD) is a privately-owned wholesale wine and spirit importation and distribution business established in 2016 primarily to service the independent retail trade and on-premise establishments in Western Australia.

VFWD imports directly from France, Italy, and South Africa and represents a growing number of ultra-premium Australian producers, including Bird in Hand (Adelaide Hills), HATCH (Clare and Eden Valley; McClaren Vale and Barossa Valley), Sevenhill (Clare Valley), Sittella Avant Garde (Swan Valley/Margaret River/Pemberton), Poachers Ridge (Gt Southern), Chalari Wines (Swan Valley and Gt Southern) and Hamelin Bay (Margaret River) that feature and focus on wines of provenance and regionality. They run a low-cost operation and can offer competitive prices against other distributors in Perth.  The primary focus is on ultra-premium and boutique wines for which they hold exclusivity and therefore can deliver a point of difference to customers. The range has been painstakingly tasted and judged by one of the Directors, Blair Hill DipWSET before being introduced into the portfolio.

Blair is also the Director and Facilitator of the Wine Education Centre which delivers a range of wine courses to the public and interested trade including the WSET courses. He is a wine judge at a number of Western Australian wine shows and has been the ABC 720 radio wine commentator for over ten years.

Those wines selected for the VFWD portfolio are of the highest quality and offer terrific value for money. In keeping with the bespoke business model, the service offered to customers is provided by a small team of well educated (WSET trained), experienced and loyal professionals who are empowered to deliver very personalised and informed assistance compatible with customer requirements.
